General Conference

So this last weekend was General Conference weekend, usually that means that I eat a lot of junk food and watch some of it while doing other things. Well this year was a little different due to the fact that all my family is out in Illinois and not here with me. So I watched conference at home via the Internet. I really enjoyed conference, the stories are always good at keeping one attentive and awake but my favorite talk would have had to have been the first talk at the Saturday night priesthood session. Elder Scott has a way of speaking as to make you feel his is speaking directly to you. I like how he speaks slowly and clearly addressing the audience almost by name. He gave each of us a PPI right over the TV, and that is something few people can do. In general all the speakers at conference were really good and spoke very effectively, but every once in awhile a speaker will speak to religious scholars by using terminology most do not understand. For the most part the speakers seemed to have kept in mind who their audience was.
